Red River College Culinary Arts students, Alex Wong and Nicole Boudreau, were chosen to be the first Canadians to attend an intensive four-month culinary training program in France.
Red River College’s Culinary Arts Program held a competition for 2nd year students to earn the opportunity to learn from the best, at Institut Paul Bocuse. Alex and Nicole were awarded the grand prize – a chance to train with 13 other countries in this culturally-rich country, where food is known for its finesse and flavour.
And Assiniboine employee, Verna Wong, couldn’t be a prouder mom.
