Where else in town do you get to see zany circus acts, high strung acrobatics, comic daredevils, pure artistry, absurdity and foolishness — plus musical performances by international artists? Only at the 32nd annual Kidsfest — that’s where!
After a long winter, Kidsfest kicks off Winnipeg’s awesome outdoor festival season. Bring the family to join the fun at The Forks, June 5-8. Performers range from Manitoba favourites Fred Penner and Al Simmons to Pedro, Portugal’s most famous street clown. Check out the full performance schedules. Between the shows there are plenty of activities to keep kids of all ages busy and happy. New this year is a Sunday morning dance party – Last Chance to Dance Like There’s Ants in Your Pants Party – with music provided by Washboard Hank and Mr Mark. That’s going to be a load of fun! Advance tickets are $14 each or $48 for a 4FlexFest pass and are available at all Winnipeg Safeway locations until June 8. Gate prices are $16 or $56 for the pass. Admission is free for kids aged under two.
